Sensory Scribe for Mac can transcribe audio or video content from other devices, existing recordings, or streaming sources β by capturing the audio as it plays through your Mac.
How it works
- Open the audio or video file in QuickTime, your browser, or another media player on your Mac.
- Open Scribe and start a new recording with β R.
- Play the audio or video. Scribe captures and transcribes the audio output in real time.
- Add markers and notes as needed during playback.
- Press β R to stop recording when the media finishes. The transcript is saved automatically.
Note: Avoid muting your Mac's system audio during transcription of external media β Scribe transcribes from the audio output. Turning the volume low is fine; muting may interrupt transcription.
