You can manage, update, or remove the Readable Web extension at any time from your browser's extension settings. Right-clicking the Readable Web icon in the toolbar is the quickest route.

Chrome

Right-click the Readable Web icon in the Chrome toolbar. From the context menu you can:

  • Remove from Chrome — uninstalls the extension
  • Manage extension — opens Chrome's extension settings where you can control which websites Readable Web is allowed on and whether it works in Incognito/private browsing

You can also visit the Chrome Web Store listing to check for updates or reinstall.

Microsoft Edge

Right-click the Readable Web icon in the Edge toolbar. From the context menu you can:

  • Remove from Microsoft Edge — uninstalls the extension
  • Manage extension — opens Edge's extension settings where you can control allowed websites and private browsing behaviour

You can also visit the Edge Add-ons store listing to check for updates or reinstall.

Safari on Mac

Right-click the Readable Web icon in the Safari toolbar and choose Manage Extension. This opens the Safari Extension settings where you can:

  • Turn off or remove the extension
  • Control allowed websites — choose which sites Readable Web is permitted to run on
  • Private browsing settings — configure whether Readable Web operates in Private windows

You can also manage Readable Web from Safari → Settings → Extensions.
