Readable Web is installed from your browser's extension store. After installing, pin it to the toolbar so the icon is always visible and accessible.

Installing in Chrome

  1. Visit the Chrome Web Store listing for Readable Web ↗.
  2. Click Add to Chrome and confirm the installation.
  3. The Readable Web icon appears in the browser toolbar area.

Installing in Microsoft Edge

  1. Visit the Edge Add-ons listing for Readable Web ↗.
  2. Click Get and confirm the installation.
  3. The Readable Web icon appears in the browser toolbar area.

Installing in Safari on Mac

  1. Download Readable Web from the Mac App Store ↗.
  2. After downloading, open Safari → Settings → Extensions.
  3. Find Readable Web in the list and tick the checkbox to enable it.
  4. The Readable Web icon appears in the Safari toolbar.

Pinning to the toolbar (Chrome and Edge)

By default, browser extensions may be hidden in the Extensions menu. Pin Readable Web so the icon is always visible:

  1. Click the Extensions icon (puzzle piece) in your browser toolbar.
  2. Find Readable Web in the list.
  3. Click the Pin icon next to Readable Web.
  4. The Readable Web icon now appears permanently in your browser toolbar.
Tip: Once pinned, just click the Readable Web icon to open the toolbar and start using the extension on any web page.
